Google's browser - Chrome

Google soon going to launch its own web browser Google chrome.
We yet don't have any idea why would Google be doing that as already Firefox is said to be already funded by Google. Or it may be just more of hate Microsoft campaign.
Whatever it may be but already the Google' Chrome making news.
